MEA's BASS BATTLE competition is a fair and unbiased judging format used to compare a competitor's car audio system's sound pressure level, measured in decibels (dB).

The BASS Battle competition format is the intellectual property of Mobile Electronics Australia (MEA), however permission is given for the format to be used by any individual, store or organisation. Only events organised in advance with the written permission and in conjunction with MEA will be recognised as official events for the purpose of records and official results.

Above all else, BASS BATTLE competition should be fun and rewarding for the competitor and bring together enthusiasts in a friendly, competitive, non-biased environment.
