BASS Battle is an SPL Competition format, where two vehicles compete side-by-side while having their sound pressure level (SPL) tested by a Termlab SPL Meter. The format is designed to attract new competitors and grow the sport, while catering at the same time for seasoned competitors.
How do I get involved?
BASS Battle welcomes new competitors. All you must do is comply with the rules for one of the classes, turn up on event day and pay your entry fee. You will then queue your vehicle up in the lanes of the BASS Battle Judging Marquee, and two at a time come through the judging arena.

BASS Battle events are very friendly, with an emphasis on mateship and sportsmanship over competition. This is a chance to share your passion and hobby with like-minded individuals, while at the same time being rewarded for your skills and knowledge at the end of competition day.
Hosting an Event
Mobile Electronics Australia provides the BASS Battle SPL Competition format to the Australian industry for their use. Want to run a local event, or a larger event? That's no problem, we allow the use of our competition format for this purpose. However, only results from MEA sanctioned events (or events pre-organised with our knowledge) will be eligible for Australian Records. We have a BASS Battle Dealer / Event Host pack available to send to you with more information.
Simply contact us if you would like to host your own event, or have our team come and run a turn-key event for you.
