"Some people are bound to die young. By dying young a person stays young forever in people's memory. If she burns brightly before she dies, her light shines for all time."
Alexander Solzhenitsyn - Russian Novelist

Ainslee or 'Ainz' as she was known to us, sadly passed away on the 25th September, 2006. Ainslee was MEA's founder Marc Rushton's partner but also known to many as MEA's 'first lady'.

While only on this earth for a short time, Ainslee touched the lives of so many. Never judgemental, always ready to listen, and dedicated to those she loved, both friends and family, and this extended to the members of the Mobile Electronics Australia organisation which she always had time for. Ainz is always remembered in our thoughts, memories and our hearts, but particularly by three words ...

Spirit . Passion . Life

These three words have become symbolic in keeping Ainslee Duff's spirit and approach to life alive. In honour of Ainslee and as a way to let us not forget these three words, the perpetual Ainslee Duff Memorial Award was created. At the end of each year, senior members of Mobile Electronics Australia along with Marc, decide which member has shown the most dedication, selflessness, willingness to help others, positive outlook, and generally represents these three words best. This prestigious and highly sentimental award is the highest achievement and acknowledgement that can be given within the Mobile Electronics Australia organisation.
